I started out in the industry as a Vision Engineer and that’s still what I do sometimes.
The job role has changed over the years, from the line up and colour balancing of cameras, to include overseeing the look and feel of the cameras on larger reality shoots, like the Secret Life of five year olds, Spies and SAS – Who Dares, Wins.
As well as looking after the colours and exposure on the cameras, I’d also guarantee the shoot.
The same is true of Spies, shot in the iconic location of Fawley Power Station.
